Ann Magnolia has impressive deep purple-red flowers with 7 to 9 petals that resemble a tulip. The early spring flowers are slightly fragrant and may sporadically bloom in mid summer. Makes a spectacular specimen, accent, border or small informal hedge. Hardy in USDA zones 4 to 8.
